1. How long have you been an illustrator/artist?
Not very long at all really, I’d say that everything has come together in the last year or so. I have always loved drawing and I specialised in sculpture when I was at school, but both my parents were artists who had to shift their career paths due to the instability of income. When I said I wanted to go to art school they teamed up with my art teacher to convince me that the only way to be an artist without poverty was to marry rich, which didn’t seem very appealing either! 1. How long have you been an illustrator/artist?
I always preferred it to other subjects in school. I remember drawing Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles to an immaculate standard in the late 80′s/early 90′s. It took me so long to get their heads right and their little tails always looked like penis’s. It was always just fun to draw things. I don’t think I’m that great at drawing but I always had some odd ideas. I was around 10 and I drew a dog on my friends head in biro because I thought when he was old and bald it would still be there. I hope it is! (more…)

1. How long have you been an illustrator/artist?
I been an illustrator for 7 years now, ever since I picked up a pen instead of a mouse during a graphic design lesson and quickly decided it was time to change courses.
2. What inspires your work?
I get inspired by the oddest places and at the oddest time. I remember once really struggling with a book I was trying to put together, I had done so much research and drawn 100′s of images but nothing was working for me. I had a break and went off for some retail theory when my beloved iPod broke. It was being stuck on a bus with a load of school children with no iPod that ended up giving me all the inspiration I need. Just a simple argument between two girls (more…)
