Designed by Landor in New York this is the new identity for the 9/11 Memorial Museum, that will be opening in 2011. A simple, timeless logo design, executed simply and respectfully this identity will be and deserves to be around for decades to come.

‘Deadline’ – A ‘Post-it’ Stop Motion Animation
With increasing amounts of computer generated animation in use its refreshing to see this short animation from a group of students at Savannah College of Art and Design.
This 2 minute animation has been created using stop frame animation with the aid of computer in the planning stage.
It’s a lovely little piece of work which as the ‘Making of’ video below says took 3 months of planning, 4 days of shooting and 6000+ post it notes.
A colourful, fun and memorable animation, if 3M ‘Post it’ are reading you need to use this guys for your next television/online advert!
