Logo Design Process – Mark Colombus Wedding Photography

Dot Design worked with Mark Colombus a few months back to create a new identity design for his wedding photography business.

Mark offers a wedding package of creative reportage, he attends the wedding all day from the bridal preparations until after the first dance. This ensures that nothing is missed and there is a range of memories of the whole day for years to come.

Mark considers it very important to get to know each couple before the wedding day, and offers a pre-wedding shoot free of charge with his wedding photography packages . After the wedding images are available to view in an online gallery, usually within 3 weeks of the wedding. The high resolution images are then presented on personally designed DVD’s. (more…)

Logo Design Process – The Proof Fairy

Earlier this year I was contacted by Alison at The Proof Fairy to work on a new identity design for her business.

The Proof Fairy provide several services from blogging and writing, through to editing and a very handy ‘Pay As You Go Proofreading Service’ .

When contacted by Alison we had a chat through what she had in mind, what the company offered and I also provided a Logo Questionnaire.

I use the questionnaire before I start an new logo design project as it helps me to find out more about the business, who it’s audience is, how it markets and positions itself and generally how it ticks. (more…)
